As I stand before you, I am deeply humbled and overwhelmed with a sense of gratitude and joy. The journey to this moment has been marked with countless prayers, fervent studies, and many sacrifices. I am profoundly aware of the sacred responsibilities that come with the ordination and the mantle of priesthood that you have bestowed upon me today.

I wish to express my deep sense of gratitude to His Excellency, for the trust and faith he has shown in me. Your wise counsel, spiritual guidance and constant encouragement have been instrumental in my spiritual formation, helping me to evolve into an unwavering, faithful servant of Christ.

To all the Reverend Fathers who have mentored me, I cannot express my gratitude enough for your instruction, companionship, and the life lessons you have imparted. You have not only been my teachers but also my spiritual fathers, guiding me to navigate the path of faith with courage, humility, and piety.

I owe a debt of gratitude to the seminary faculty who have educated and prepared me for this significant vocation, instilling in me the principles of theology and philosophy, teaching me the importance of deepening the understanding of faith, and bolstering my dedication to lifelong intellectual and spiritual growth.

To the community members, who have been my extended family, I thank you for your unwavering support. I am inspired by your faith, the strength of your prayers and your endless generosity. I look forward to serving you, learning from you, and growing with you.

To my dear family, you have been my source of strength and solace. Your prayers and unconditional love have been a guiding beacon of light in my darkest times. Your faith in me, even when I doubted myself, have propelled me forward on this path.

As I embark on this sacred journey, I am reminded of the words in the Gospel of Matthew, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.” It is this path I have chosen to tread, as your priest, to serve you with all my heart and soul.

In accepting the Holy Order, I acknowledge that the road ahead will not be easy. There will be challenges and trials to face.
