Good morning ladies and gentlemen,

I feel truly humbled to see the kind faces I have grown to know and cherish over the years gathered here today. As I stand before you, not just an individual, but as the Vice President of our beautiful church, I am honored to have been given the privilege to address you all.

Let us start this gathering by giving thanks to our Almighty God, for it is through his grace that we are gathered here today. Ephesians 2:8 reminds us, "For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God." We extend this gift with the commitment of nurturing our spiritual values, unity, and compassion that we share in our devout community.

Our church has always acted as a beacon of hope, forging together love and kindness, and propelling us to ignite a positive shift in our community. Being in this position should not be seen as a title, but rather as a call to service, a call to shepherd all members of our beloved congregation, to steer the direction of our spiritual journey as one, unified in faith.

Today, my dear brothers and sisters, I do not seek to present an array of plans and projects. Rather, I call upon each of us to play their part in the growth, unification, and spiritual nourishment of our congregation. For in Philippians 2:2, we are urged to be "like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind."

Together, we will nurture and strengthen our faith, kindle the divine love that binds us together and extend help to those in need. With our concerted efforts, we shall continue to be a pillar of hope, a sanctuary of spiritual nourishment, and a symbol of unity in our larger community.

As your Vice President, I pledge to serve with passion, truth, love, and transparency, grounded in the teachings of Christ. I am here not to be served, but to serve. As sincere servants, we follow the footsteps of Christ who said in Mark 10:45, "For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many."

In conclusion, let us remember that we are a family under God's shelter, bound by love, strengthened by faith, and inspired by hope. With your support and engagement, we will transcend challenges, deepen our faith, and flourish as a nurturing community.

May the peace of the Lord be with you all. Thank you and God bless.
