Christmas is a time of giving and sharing in the same spirit that God gave His only begotten son to us. It is in this spirit we come before you today, to present an opportunity to reflect the same generosity within our house of worship.

We are humbly sending out this letter, seeking additional financial offerings specifically targeted towards our Church needs this Christmas season. Our Church, like many others, has persisting commitments and responsibilities. These include support for our pastoral team, maintenance of our sacred house of worship, organizing meaningful ministries, and replenishing resources used in our outreach programs.

This year, more than ever, we are facing a tremendous responsibility to assist our community members heavily affected by the continuing impact of the global pandemic. It is our goal to provide more support in terms of food, clothing, shelter, and spiritual nourishment for those in need within our congregation and broader community.

We are therefore asking each able member of our church to consider contributing to this special Christmas offering. We understand that not all may be in a position to give and we want to assure you that the value is not in the amount given, but in the spirit and willingness of the heart that gives.

Please consider praying about what you might be able to offer during this season. As the Bible teaches us in 2 Corinthians 9:7, "Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver."
